Removal time depends on the number of fence panels that comprise the fenced barrier of the pool. Most installations can be dismantled within a few minutes and easily stored nearby.

Can installing a removable pool fence lower my homeowners insurance?

No. The portion of the insurance premium that is apportioned for a pool is not reduced by installing removable or permanent pool safety equipment. However, using one of our removable pool fences, pool safety nets, or pool safety covers may keep your premium from rising by helping to prevent a serious accident that could lead to a higher insurance rate. Can a leaf pool cover serve the purpose of a swimming pool safety cover?

No, although a leaf pool cover overlays the surface of a swimming pool, it is not designed to withstand the weight of a person crawling or walking across its surface. If you need to prevent both water accidents and debris accumulation, applying a leaf pool cover on top of a pool safety net is a good option, or consider using a pool safety cover instead.

Are pool safety nets or safety covers made to keep animals out of the water?

While safety nets and covers are designed and tested for child safety, in some cases a net or cover can assist with preventing access to the pool. Many people choose to install a pool safety net or pool cover to keep animals like medium/large dogs, ducks, raccoons, etc out of their pool. It can depend on the animal and their determination to get into the pool. Net squares measure 3-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches and would not be recommended for small animals.
